Up from 3,100 in January 2022 — a near eightfold expansion across 36 months, driven entirely by collector referral, not paid acquisition.
Thirty‑seven percent of every limited release is reserved for members of this list — before public announcement.
The Gremir Waitlist is a numbered, audited collector membership. Each numbered edition of 500 or fewer units is allocated in two tranches: 37% to waitlist members in registration order, 63% to the public release. Since 2008, not a single reserved tranche has been cancelled, diluted, or repriced.
How a waitlist allocation actually works.
Three procedural steps, audited annually by TÜV Süd and verified by independent review at the Nuremberg Toy Fair (2023). There is no queue-jumping, no tier-2 priority, and no paid fast-track.

On release day, 37% of the edition is offered to members — in registration order.
When a numbered edition of 500 units is announced, the first 185 units (37%) are emailed to waitlist members in the order their numbers were issued. You have 72 hours to confirm before the unit passes to the next member in the queue. Average confirmation window used by current members in 2024: 19 hours.

After member confirmation, the remaining 63% opens to the public.
Unclaimed units from the reserved tranche are folded back into the public release. In 2023 the average public release sold out in 4.3 days; in 2024 the 1:43 Jaguar XJ13 sold out in 38 hours. Members are notified of sell-outs in a single brief email; no further marketing follow-up is sent.
The membership, measured.
Fixed in the atelier's production charter since 2014. Audited annually and never lowered on a sold-out release.
Calculated across all 11 numbered releases of 2023. Sell-out timing is published in each edition's manifest.
Documented as the highest in the premium scale-model category by the 2024 Hobbies Industry Benchmark Report.

Two collectors, on what the reserved tranche actually meant.
“We placed an institutional order through the waitlist for the 1:8 Porsche 917K — 917K chassis number 22. The reserved tranche honoured our member number, the public window was never required, and the lacquer match against our reference Porsche Classic panel was verified at the museum before installation. I have since recommended waitlist enrolment to four peer institutions.”
“I joined the list in 2019 with MEM‑19‑412 and have since received every member tranche I was offered — eight out of eight. I have missed zero public windows because I have never had to compete in one. The 37% is not a slogan. The audit letter that accompanies each delivery is what convinced me to stay.”
